Privacy Policy
Last updated October 12, 2026.
Nomad Coffee & Conversation respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
1. What we collect
- Orders: your name, contact details, billing and delivery address, and what you bought. Card payments are handled by the payment provider; we never see or store your card number.
- Mobile bar requests: your name, cellphone, email and the event details you give us (date, venue, address, guests, bars, notes).
- Enquiries: what you send us through the contact and chocolate forms, WhatsApp or email.
- Technical data: basic logs and cookies needed for the cart, checkout and your account.
2. Why we use it
To process and deliver your orders, to send you quotes and arrange your event, to answer your messages, and to meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your information, and we only send marketing if you have asked for it.
3. Who we share it with
Only those who help us serve you: our payment provider, couriers (name, address and phone for delivery), our website host and email service. Each must keep your information safe and use it only for that purpose.
4. Instagram
The Instagram posts on this site are loaded from our own Instagram account through our server. Your browser loads the photos from Instagram's servers. Following a link to Instagram takes you to Instagram, where its own privacy policy applies.
5. How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax law requires (currently five years). Booking requests and enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your request, then deleted.
6. Your rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email sales@nomadcoffeesa.co.za. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforeg.org.za.
7. Security
This website uses an encrypted connection, and access to your information is limited to the people who need it to serve you.
